More than anything else I expect children’s picture books to have great illustrations. ?Text I don’t mind rereading is second on my list. ?Captain McFinn and Friends met both these requirements. ?The illustrations are bold and vibrant. ?The text was easy to read and made for a great read aloud. ?This book also had a good message about helping those who are not our friends.
