Kacie can’t ignore the tortured souls of the children crying out to her every night. With Logan at her side, she will fight the Foxblood Demon. But can they banish this powerful phantom, or will Kacie lose not only her body, but her eternal soul to the monster.

America’s Haunted Destinations — San Antonio, TX
I’ve had the privilege of living in some of America’s most haunted cities. Yet I’ve never (yep—never) had a paranormal experience beyond simple events that can be written off as a trick of the eye or the light or just plain old imagination. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been looking for the paranormal most of my life. Ghosts have fascinated me since early childhood. So in this series of posts I’ll reveal some of the haunted destinations I’ve visited in my search for the supernatural. I come from a long line of Texans, could join The Daughters of the Republic of Texas were I so inclined. My grandmother lived in San Antonio, and I used to visit her every summer. We spent lots of time sightseeing: going around to missions, museums, and caves. One moment in time really stands out to me, and that was the morning I went to the Alamo for the first time. Early in the morning there were few other tourists, so we had the place mostly to ourselves. If you’ve never been to the Alamo, it’s hard to explain just how hallowed the grounds feel. I was eight, maybe nine years old. Even at that age, I could feel the press of history. To think of those brave souls and their sacrifice… well it makes me proud. 
The main mission is dark and cool inside. It smells old and the stone walls are cold to the touch. Sounds echo within, due to the high ceiling. I remember wandering around, wondering how scared and desperate the defenders would have been—knowing they had no chance against such a large enemy. Yet they stood their ground for something they believed in. The energy there made me cry, though I didn’t really understand why at the time. There’s an overall somber feeling to the Alamo. No, I didn’t have a supernatural experience—not for lack of trying. But I did have a spiritual experience. There were a few moments when the veil of time melted away, and I could feel the tumultuous emotions that still vibrate throughout the mission. I live in San Antonio now, been here for seven years now. It’s a great city. The Orion Circle series takes place in San Antonio. In fact, the hotel in chapter nine of Tortured Souls, though it’s entirely fictional, was inspired by The Menger Hotel next to the Alamo. The Menger is a step back through history and also has the reputation for being quite haunted. Many ghost tours make a stop here.

I have had a few experiences that I think would be on the paranormal side and I would love to have more
I’ve never had a paranormal experience but I think it would be fun and a change in daily routine.
I have had a few experiences which I have not been able to explain, also my husband and I once saw the same happening and to this day we can’t explain it

I do like paranormal stories because I believe that there exits something more that our tangible existence.

Hmm, not sure if I can considered them ‘paranormal experiences’… but I only had two odd situations in which I didn’t have an explanation besides my mind playing tricks. Nice cover and blurb, by the way. ??

Actually I’ve had quite a few, more so when I was a kid and they definitely affected how I see things as an adult.
I haven’t had a paranormal experience? I would not like to have one – it would make me paranoid. They are fun to read though.
When we were kids we truly felt like a couple of the houses that we lived in had ghosts but looking back now I am pretty sure it only had over active imaginations living in it.

I’ve had some paranormal experiences,sometimes scary ones,sometimes sad ones but I can’t help but be fascinated by them and yes I still want to read about them even if it scares me I can’t help it!
I’ve had the few odd ‘deja vu’ moments and also weird dreams …. but not really no!!! If it would make life easier – I would be all for PNR experiences lol!! ??

yr my mom died she came to me during surgery then saved me and my son from a car accident no one believes me tho
Yes. My daughters country home is haunted, didn’t actually talk to the ghost because they were having a conversation among themselves. I couldn’t understand what they were saying, but I laid in bed for several minutes trying to follow the conversation, Told my daughter about it the next morning and she says she hears them waling up in the attic all the time. I guess I’m okay with it, so long as they don’t touch me, if they do, well then that calls for “game on” exorcist style.

Yes, I’ve had several. In my family, the women have dreams that are either premonitions of things to come (which saved my ass from an abusive relationship – thanks be I’m still alive!), or messages. When my cousin committed suicide in 2011, that same night the same time my boyfriend kept waking me up because I was extremely restless and fighting in my sleep. Obviously, for a cop that’s not normal behavior, but by 8 AM the next morning I knew why. I believe in signs, and in my family 29 means death. Unfortunately, in my fiance’s family, his parents and his brother were born on the 29th.
I’ve sort of have, sometimes when I’m praying for or with someone, I just know things. Or sometimes I have dreams.
My brother’s house was haunted by 2 ghosts and someone I know also has a ghost at their place. I have seen 2 of them.

The closest I’ve ever come to a paranormal experience is having doors shut or things fall randomly, I blame it on the settling of an older home, others blame it on the owner’s mother (we rent) having shot herself in the house a few months prior to us moving in….

I’ve had quite many, actually. But ever since we stopped trying to ‘talk’ to them, the sightings died down a little. Mostly they were kinda like shadows in the corner of the eye (which could’ve been our imagination), but I’ve had some amazing and clear ones as well. I’d be okay with it if it happened again (:
When I was very very young, (it was on my 3rd birthday after we had all gone to bed: August 3 1961) I was visited by a woman w/long flowing hair (blondish) in a white robe. Angel or ghost(?) I don’t know. She didn’t seem threatening, & she was very pretty. However it scared me to death, to see her standing there. I do remember a light that surrounded her. Not sure how I would handle it now……
