Six new contemporary romance novellas from bestselling authors:
High school was years ago, and Kendell is ready to admit that Tyler, her best friend’s younger brother, has matured into a good-looking man. But the once-popular Kendell is recovering from a marriage-gone-wrong, and she regrets turning Tyler down for high school prom. On their road trip to deliver a refurbished camper, Kendell rediscovers all the reasons she liked Tyler, but it might be too late to rekindle their friendship.

Kelsey is living out her dream for the weekend as she participates in a reality show contest by living on a 19th century film set. The contestant who wins the show receives a trip to England and $100k, more than enough to get her through grad school. When she meets Devon, who was coerced by his sister to participate, friendship blossoms. When things go wrong for Kelsey, Devon is there to help, and she soon realizes that winning the contest isn’t what she most desires.

WOULDN’T IT BE NICE by Ranee` S. Clark

But then Hudson, her best friend’s brother, takes Colin’s spot for the road trip, and Jacqueline’s disappointment in her ex takes a back seat to the chance for reestablishing the close ties she once had with Hudson. When their friendship detours into romance, it forces Jacqueline to question her reasons for breaking up with Colin and her future with Hudson.

The two decide to play a prank on Tristan’s friend, and pretend that they are smitten with each other, but soon, the lines between pretend and reality start to fade.

Anita's Review 2

I don’t love riding in a car. There, I said it. Many people love it. My husband adores it. Me, well I feel it to be highly overrated. Having said that (or written as it may be) I loved this collection. Shocker. Right? It’s a feel good set of novellas by six delightfully talented authors.

What Falling Feels Like by Jolene Betty Perry
I have two older brothers so I related so well to unrequited love to a friend of a sibling. This is a sweet story of Kendall who is finding herself and Tyler who has never forgotten her. I love that it’s a new twist on an old tale.

Antiques Road Trip by Sarah M. Eden
Sarah is one of my all-time favorite authors. Her writing is always fresh and unique. She mixes a road trip with a reality show – go figure. I adored the characters in this story. Who wouldn’t? I laughed out loud at our heroine, Kelsey’s, “brother”. His pretend dialogue was amusing. Our hero, Devon, uh, just say swoon and get it over with.

Wouldn’t It Be Nice by Ranee S. Clark
We have a love triangle that actually seems like it is believable. Normally I roll my eyes when reading many love triangles, but this had surprisingly well rounded characters whose motivation we could understand. I loved the title. I sang Beach Boys for days.

Head Over Heels by Annette Lyon
This is a FUN story. I loved the name twist with each having a name which is normally associated with the other gender. The descriptions of the storyline were happy and fresh. I loved the antics of Mac. This novella had the potential to go horribly wrong, but it didn’t. It was perfect.

Two Dozen Roses by Heather B. Moore
This is a dueling road trip. Two different cars were driving the same route and kept running into each other. Two of the characters hit it off and have to get creative to spend a little time together. I love the mom in this story.

Try, Try Again by Aubrey Mace
First of all, kissing in the aisle of a bookstore is AWESOME! (sing-song that last word) We jump into the middle of this romance, but not in a bad way. Our heroine is taken back by our hero’s claiming he loves her. The rest of the story is a second chance romance of our heroine figuring out what she wants. (It’s much better than I’m making it sound). Cute.

Once again a group of talented writers put together a themed anthology with six strong stories that are unique and fun.
