AN UNEXPECTED BABY (12 pages, 3200 words).

I read these short stories one by one but am reviewing them as a boxed set. The 4th book An Unexpected Proposal was free on Amazon last week and was showing up first on my Kindle when I turned it on looking for a new book. It was a quick 24-page read and I had a few minutes so I breezed through it. I quite enjoyed it so went back and read the rest of the series. If you can get this whole boxed set for a dollar or two go for it.? Over the past couple years I had downloaded books 1-6 while they were free so I only had to buy book #7 for 99 cents.

These are enjoyable little snippets. Each is a complete short story that gives up a quick glimpse into Holly & Dave’s relationship. I loved the setting in Montana. Perfect if you need a quick pick me up. I’m not a huge short story fan because I am often left unsatisfied with the lack of details but this series of interconnected stories worked for me. From their meeting to their first date, to their proposal, wedding and finding out their pregnant we grow to love both characters in these heartwarming vignettes.
